Gameplay Review

How the Game Works

Cookie Cats Pop is a match three bubble shooter game. You shoot colored bubbles at the screen to match and remove them.

The goal of every level is to save kittens. They are stuck in bubbles.

You Can Combine Powerups

As you make matches, you collect cookies. You eventually create powerups that you can combine and use during levels.

Panda Pop has something similar.

The Game Is a Bit Monotone

It would be nice if there was more than one level type. Saving kittens is fine, but it does become stale over time.

Angry Birds Pop is also a bubble shooter that manages to be fun and have different level objectives. I like this, and the game is very fun.

More About the Gameplay

The game has frequent events. Playing this events often is a great way to make progress in the game.

The game also has daily quests and tournaments you can play in.

How Hard Is This Game?

Some levels can be quite hard. The game has random sections of extreme difficulty. This is an issue faced by every match three games with hundreds of levels.

Overall I would say the game is hard but fair.

Presentation Review

How the Game Looks

I like the look of the game. It has a nice cartoon-style, and it stands out.

The cats are cute and expressive, and the animations look nice.

How the Game Sounds

The music is nice, and it even stands out a little.

The cats singing is so cute. It is my favorite part of all the Cookie Cats games. There are multiple songs, and they are very creative.

How Does This Game Get You to Spend Money?

  • The game had ads, and you pay to remove them.
  • The game sells a currency you can use to buy boosters, powerups, and to continue playing levels when running out of moves.
  • The game also has a monthly subscription that you can pay to get things every day.

Is This Game Fair for People Who Don’t Spend Money?

I would say it is. The things you can pay money to help you progress, but they are not needed.

With enough willpower and time, you can eventually beat any level.

You can also watch videos for free coins. This is time-consuming, but it only costs time.

How Does This Game Annoy You?

  • The game has ads.
  • The game has a live timer and you need to wait to play more.
