Angry Birds Dream Blast Review

About This Review

Angry Birds Dream Blast is a match three game about tapping on orbs and solving puzzles. I played the game for three days for this review. I have not played the game for a long time before this review. I am on level 23.

Gameplay Review

The main goal of Angry Birds Dream Blast is to solve the puzzle found in each level. Most of the time, this means getting the orbs to the bottom of the level and then completing a task.

You have so many moves each level to do this before you lose.

You start at the top of levels, and as you open up locks, the orbs start to fall downward. The orbs also interact with any obstacles along the way.

Compared to most match three like games, this feels new and different. The game is fun to play, and I enjoyed it. But I did not get very far into the game before this review.

Presentation Review

How the Game Looks

The game looks great, and I like the bright and colorful art style. The icons on the orbs could be easier to see and look more different.

The Angry birds in the game are Red, Chuck, and Bomb. The characters seem quite young in this game, and they appear to be teenagers.

How the Game Sounds

The game sounds good, and there is nothing odd or out of place. The music is OK. I am not a fan of relaxing music like this in games most of the time. There is nothing wrong with the music in this game, though.

How Does This Game Get You to Spend Money?

The Game Sells a Currency

You can buy coins in this game. Coins are used for many things in this game, and they mostly help you when you are stuck on hard levels.

Is This Game Fair for People Who Don’t Spend Money?

So far, the game is very fair, and I have not had any issues beating levels. I don’t see me ever spending money on a match three game like this as I don’t see a reason to do.

How Does This Game Annoy You?

The only annoyance this game has are life timers. This game’s life timer is quite long, at 30 minutes as well. It is quite frustrating to enjoy a game and have to wait or maybe spend money to play the game more.

Overall Thoughts on Angry Birds Dream Blast

Angry Birds Dream Blast is a very fun game, and it is quite different compared to most match three games. The game is somewhat held back by some common free to play practices.

Do I Recommend Angry Birds Dream Blast?

Angry Birds Dream Blast is a fun match three puzzle game and, I would recommend it. The game also has fewer annoyances compared to most match three games, and I would recommend it based on that alone.

Will I Play Angry Birds Dream Blast After Reviewing It?

No. I already have enough match three games to play that I think are fun. I deleted the game soon after publishing the review.
