In case you didn’t know, battle royale games have become a bit popular recently. Maybe you have heard of Fortnite Battle Royale? Candy Royale is the Candy Crush Saga take on Battle Royale game.
Candy Royale in Candy Crush Saga is a nice way to get gold bars by beating levels. I am going to explain Candy Royale is and how you get gold bars.
When I first saw Candy Royale, I didn’t think much of it. I pretty much ignored the event. But after a few lucky wins, I saw just good of an event this is. I slept on this one.

What Is Candy Royale in Candy Crush Saga?
The goal of Candy Royale is to beat seven levels to get a share of a prize pool of 500 gold bars. The event starts with 100 players. Whoever lasts until the end gets gold bars.
Once you start a Candy Royale, you have 24 hours to beat all seven levels. If you lose a level or don’t beat all seven levels, you get kicked out and don’t get any gold bars.
How Do Get More Gold Bars From Candy Royale?
To be honest, you can’t do too much. But some things can happen that will lead to you getting more gold bars. If more people lose, you will get more gold bars at the end if you win.
So this creates an interesting situation. If the levels are easy, you will beat them all. But a lot of other people will as well. If the levels are hard, there is a better chance you will get more gold bars, but you also might lose.
The game decides the seven levels you play based on wherever you are on the map. It is hard to say how hard or easy they will be.
My Candy Royale Strategy
I start by just playing levels as normal. For the first level or two, I won’t change my strategy at all. Who cares if you get bounced out in the beginning?
What I do after that depends. If there are a lot of other players left, I won’t worry too much about the event. I will keep playing as normal.
I change my strategy as people bounce out of the event. If I notice there are about only 30 player or so, I am more willing to start levels with boosters. I try much harder to win levels. There is a point where the boosters you spend will be less than the gold bars you will get by winning the event.
This situation doesn’t happen too often. Because once you get to the last two levels or so, only the most dedicated players are left. Often few people will bounce out of the event by now. If you get lucky enough, you might find yourself winning over 100 gold bars!
That is almost worth any reasonable amount of boosters to get. Don’t be afraid to stack boosters if there are few players and levels left.
My Lucky Candy Royale Story
I was in a tough set of levels. There were two nightmare levels, and the rest were at least hard. I was in the middle of a Candy Royale event. But after about the fourth level, I noticed something. I was the only player left in the event!
I thought to myself, impossible! How could this happen?! Did every other player than me bounce out? I am not sure if this incident was an odd bug. Or if I was just that lucky. But the results were valid.
At this point, I got ultra tense. I stacked up so many boosters you think I was going pay-to-win. Luck and skill were on my side. I won the Candy Royale event, and I got all 500 gold bars for myself! I couldn’t believe it.
