Yet there are certain things in games that absolutely annoy me. This post is going to go over five things developers do in Android games that annoy me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Waiting_for_Things_to_Happen_in_Android_Games\"><\/span>#1 Waiting for Things to Happen in Android Games<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is one of the things that annoy me the most about Android games. There is no fun in having to wait over an hour to keep on playing a game. I want to decide how long to play a game myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often when people cite some of the worst Android games ever, they often consider games that make you wait a very long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Showing_Too_Many_Ads\"><\/span>#2 Showing Too Many Ads<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ads_Everywhere\"><\/span>Ads Everywhere<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Android games go way too overboard with ads. I don&#8217;t mind ads sometimes shown in menus and after long sessions of game play. But some games show full screen and video ads after every user action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Not_Having_a_Way_to_Get_Rid_of_Ads\"><\/span>Not Having a Way to Get Rid of Ads<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some developers show ads but then allow the user to turn them off for a cheap cost of like one to five dollars. I am also OK with this as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I rather pay a small fee and support then developer this way than to see many ads. As long this is a permanent transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Games that have many ads but no way to remove them are greedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ad_Removal_Is_Not_Permanent\"><\/span>Ad Removal Is Not Permanent<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I have seen some greedy developers offer the ability to remove ads but only for limited periods of time. Don&#8217;t make your game like <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.microsoft.microsoftsolitairecollection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft Solitaire<\/a>. This game charges a monthly fee to remove ads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Charging_a_Subscription_for_Purchases\"><\/span>#3 Charging a Subscription for Purchases<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Subscription_Based_Pay_Models\"><\/span>Subscription Based Pay Models<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Android developers are starting to use subscription-based in-app purchase models. These models come off as predatory and unnecessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wrote a good deal about this type of model in my <a href=\"https:\/\/androidgamingfox.com\/index.php\/reviews\/word-link-review\/\">Word Link<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/androidgamingfox.com\/index.php\/reviews\/hello-stars-review\/\">Hello Stars<\/a> reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Subscriptions_Are_Never_Worth_the_Price\"><\/span>Subscriptions Are Never Worth the Price<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I can&#8217;t think of any mobile game so good I would spend money on a monthly basis. Developers would need to give the best deals ever for this to even begin to feel worthwhile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quick_to_Start_Harder_to_Stop\"><\/span>Quick to Start Harder to Stop<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The times I have seen this pay model in games they have a flashy buy now buttons with in-game currency visible. Hold on now! Give me some time to make up my mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am going to review your game\/application when I am ready. Showing in-game characters holding up five stars is not getting me to change my mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Sending_Too_Many_Notifications\"><\/span>#5 Sending Too Many Notifications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Constant reminders to play a game are very annoying.
