  • I reviewed the game for two days.
  • I played the game until level 72.
  • I played this game on my LG V20 Android smartphone.

Word Link Gameplay Review

What Kind of Game Is Word Link?

Word Link is a word puzzle game, and the goal is to find words.

As you solve puzzles, they get harder, and there are more words to find. There are extra words to find, but only the puzzle words count to finish the level.

The game has daily puzzles that can be solved once a day. There are also challenges that happen after so many levels.

My Thoughts on the Puzzles in the Game

The puzzles are fun, but they did not seem too varied. I started to see the same answers across multiple levels.

The Challenges Are Nice

The one thing this game did do that was somewhat interesting were the challenges. These showed up after beating so many levels.  I found the challenges to be very hard and a nice change of pace.

Word Link Presentation Review

The Game Looks OK

The game presents itself fine enough. The graphics are nothing special, but they are functional.

The Music and Sounds Are OK

The music is not so bad it hurts my ears or anything, but it does not add anything to the game. The sounds are also OK.

How Does This Game Get You to Spend Money?

The Game Sells You a Subscription

This game has a worthless subscription. My biggest issue with these types of pay models is that they are deceptive. These Subscriptions trick into purchasing things that are not worth it.

The subscription in this game costs $3 (USD) a week or about $12 (USD) a month.

The Subscription Is Pointless

There is little point in this purchase as you get enough hints playing the game. I also see no point in playing a puzzle game to have the game solve everything for me.

The Game Sells a Currency

You can buy diamonds in the game. The prices of the diamonds seem fair enough. I don’t see any need to buy them myself though. As long you enjoy puzzles and try hard you won’t need to buy any.

Is This Game Fair for People Who Don’t Spend Money?

This game is fair. Diamonds are used to buy extra hints. You get plenty while playing the game. I think buying more hints would take away the fun of solving the puzzles.

How Does This Game Annoy You?

Word Link Has Video Ads

The game has ads. The game does not show ads after every level. But because the levels are short, it will seem as there are many.

Removing Ads Is Cheap

The game only charges $1 (USD) to remove ads as you only need to purchase any diamond package.

My Overall Thoughts About Word Link

Word Link is fun, but it doesn’t do enough to stand out from other similar word games. Overall Word Link is about average.

Do I Recommend Word Link?

I do not recommend playing Word Link. There are many games just like Word Link, and they all play about the same.

Will I Play Word Link After Reviewing It?

I will not play Word Link after this review. There are lots of word games on Android, and I would pick something else to play.
