Learn About Mobile Performance Meter
Mobile Performance Meter is a way to earn gift cards. You let the app run in the background on your phone.
In this post, I am going to explain what Mobile Performance Meter is and how you can use it to earn free Google Play gift cards and gift cards from other stores.
What Is Mobile Performance Meter
Mobile Performance Meter is an app that uses the cellular data on your phone to improve phone service.
Well, that is what the company claims to do. I know it collects information while running.
It should be somewhat obvious. But if the thought of a company looking at your cellular and phone connection data sounds bad, then don’t use this app.
I personally don’t care about this at all.
There Is a Chance You Won’t Qualify to Earn Points
Not everybody can earn points. You have to qualify to join the program.
I am not sure what they are looking for in new users.
When I first tried to use the app, I could not join the program. But after changing phone service providers, I was let in.
If the app won’t let you join, then, unfortunately, you will not be able to use the app to earn points.
How to Earn Points
Leave the app running
You earn points by letting the app run at all times.
Older users earn more points. I earn 10 points a day. But I hear some new users only get five points a day.
The app will never distract you or show any ads. It might lower your battery life some, though. Since the app has to run all the time.
Complete Surveys
You can also complete surveys. These surveys are very similar to the surveys you see on websites like Swagbucks or instaGC.
You have to enable the survey booster option and complete a few profile surveys.
The surveys tend to be too long and give too few points for me to bother doing them. But you get two points for just trying surveys.
If you are close to the points needed to get a gift card, then the surveys might be worth doing. So sometimes, I work on them while doing something else.

How to Get Gift Cards
Once you save up enough points for a gift card, you redeem them. There are multiple gift cards you can choose from.
If you want games on Google Play, then you will need to get a Google Play gift card.
I mostly use the points for Amazon gift cards.
Once you redeem points for a gift card, you will get an email with your gift card.
Please note that unlike some rewards programs, you won’t instantly get a gift card.
