What Are Bracelets in WSOP?

In case you did not know, World Series of Poker (WSOP) is a poker organization with real tournaments. The most known and popular tournament is the Main Event. It costs a lot of money to play in, and you get a bracelet when you win.

Do a Google Search for WSOP bracelets, and you will quickly see that these things are worth a lot in terms of money and prestige. These are very flashy.

Of course, Playtika won’t give you an actual bracelet in a free online poker game. But you can collect virtual bracelets while playing the game. These bracelets remind me of the authentic bracelets in art style.

What Is the Point of Earning Bracelets?

So you might be thinking, “OK, that is cool. Why do I care?” There are multiple reasons why you want to get bracelets in the game.

So first, you can show off the bracelets. When I see someone with one of the more challenging bracelets, it means they have played a lot of poker. Most likely, they have played high stakes, as well. I will soon explain that getting bracelets is hard and takes a long time.

But there still is another reason to get the bracelets. I suspect this is the reason people care about the most.

You get a nice amount of chips when you collect each bracelet. The harder to get bracelets give billions of chips. For most players, this is amazing. The only downside is getting chips this way takes a very long time.

What Bracelets Are There?

The game has standard and event bracelets. Playtika slowly adds more bracelets over time. When I first started playing the game, there were only the main and a few event bracelets. Now, there are a lot of each.

Trying to list all the event bracelets has become a confusing mess, as the game will only show me each bracelet if the event is active. Most events have one. You can find out when an event is active.

Thankfully, the standard bracelets are consistently shown. Here are the current bracelets you can always get while playing. There are six main bracelets.

  1. Poker Pro
  2. Mahogany
  3. Chromium
  4. Cobalt
  5. Quartz
  6. Crystal

In case you want to know I have the first two bracelets. Progress for me has pretty much become non existent for getting future bracelets. I will explain why in a future section.

How to Get Bracelets

First, make sure you are playing at stakes that give you bracelet points (BP). You will only earn bracelet points if your current stakes have an active club BP multiplier.

I can get BP and participate in events playing these stakes.

I will explain how clubs change what stakes you should play soon. For now, remember it does matter, and being in a higher club means you need to play higher stakes.

As you play the game and win hands, you will get BP. After a painfully long time, you will eventually get a chip. To get a bracelet, you need to collect a set of chips. Each chipset has ten chips.

You get the bracelet once you get all ten chips, and any extra chips are awarded. You also get bonus chips when you collect them.

I will explain a few extra details soon. The main thing to remember is you need to play a lot of poker and slowly get bracelet points.

How Clubs Affect the Rate You Earn WSOP Bracelet Points

Your current poker club is significant to getting bracelet points (BP). To summarize, the higher the club you are in, the faster you will get BP. But you will also need to play higher stakes.

So first, your club determines the lowest stakes you can play and still get bracelet points and other things. So, if you get into a very high club like Master, don’t be surprised that the game will try to force you to play some very high-stakes poker to get BP.

These stakes are so low I don't get anything from events from playing them. I don't get any bracelet points either.

Your current club also changes the stakes you see in event game modes. This change also affects table games as well. So, if you are in a very high club, you will have to play higher stakes to play event game modes.

Second, you get extra momentum when playing poker in a higher club. I will explain what that is soon. For now, know that is a good thing.

What Is Momentum?

About Momentum

You earn momentum by playing hands and staying at a table. As your momentum builds, you gain a higher momentum multiplier. Having a higher multiplier earns you more BP. You get momentum points increase as you play up to your maximum momentum. This max value can be increased by completing quests and being in higher clubs.

If you want to earn the most bracelet points, you need to play longer sessions. It takes time to get the most momentum.

Event Bracelet Momentum Is Permanent

As you play hands, you build up a lifetime momentum multiplier for event bracelets. This momentum bonus will not disappear, and you can slowly build it up. You can see this bonus in your profile.

You should know that building momentum this way is about as slow as drifting ice. Only expect to rely on getting a few points this way.

How to Get Extra Momentum

Staying at a table and playing for a long time is the primary way to get momentum. But playing poker is not the only way to earn extra bracelet points.

Special Quests and Season Quests sometimes give momentum. If a quest gives you bonus momentum, you will see orange arrows. Look at the picture below for an example.

Sometimes, the game also gives you bonus momentum in various ways. Pay attention to popup spam. Sometimes, it tells you things you want to know.

How to Get Bracelet Points Faster

So, finally, we get to what I am sure is what most of you want to know. “I just want bracelets! Help me get them!” Unfortunately, there is no easy solution to this. But you can do some things to attempt to get the bracelets faster.

First, play at the highest stakes, you possibly can and win. A lot of times. You get more BP for playing higher stakes. This bonus increases the most at the higher stakes in the game. It is out of the scope of this guide to explain good poker strategy. All I can say is good luck.

I personally avoid playing stakes higher than I feel safe playing. Because of this, I don’t get much BP. I instead play for the long run and go slow. If I go broke repeatedly, I won’t care about any silly bracelets anymore. I will be too angry and frustrated to play.

Remember momentum. If you have the time, stay at the same poker table. I often see the same players leave and rejoin tables over and over. You lose all momentum once you leave a table, even if you go back. So, if you want to get the most BP, stay put.

The only way to get bracelets is to play a lot of poker and try to play higher stakes for the most bracelet points. You have to be patient.
