Soda levels can be quite easy. But these levels still might pose a challenge sometimes!
In this guide, I am going to teach you how soda levels in Candy Crush Soda Saga work. I will also advise on how to beat soda levels.
How Do Soda Levels Work?
To beat Soda levels, you have to find and match a certain number of soda bottles. As you match soda bottles, soda will start to fill the level.
The level ends once the entire level is filled with soda.
How Do You Collect Soda Bottles?
There are three ways to get soda bottles.
- Make a match with a soda bottle.
- A power-up removes a soda bottle in a match.
- A candy fish targets and removes a soda bottle.
How Do You Find Soda Bottles?
Soda bottles will be in different spots on every level.
- The bottles are on the level visible, and you need to match them.
- The bottles will drop from the top of the screen.
- Bottles will float up from the bottom of the screen out of the soda.
- Bottles are locked up in blockers.
- Bottles are dispensed from candy cannons.
Strategy to Beat Soda Levels
Always Match Soda Bottles When Possible
Always focus on getting soda bottles first! It is better to make a simple match that removes a soda bottle than to use special candies.
Break up the Blockers
If soda bottles are locked or stuck focus, on removing blockers that are stopping them from appearing. Combine special candies and use them often.
Combining wrapped and striped candies work well. Any special candy and a color bomb or coloring candy also work well.
Use Candy Fish Often
Candy fish are amazing in soda levels! If a soda bottle is visible and not trapped by a blocker, a candy fish will target the bottle and remove it. Be sure to create and use candy fish as often as possible.
Combine candy fish and other special candies to clear levels faster and to remove many soda bottles at once.
The Flow of the Soda Changes Levels
As you progress in soda levels, the flow of the soda will start to change how the level works.
Making matches above the soda will drop candies to the soda, and they will stop. Making matches in soda will cause candies to float up and then stop once they reach the top of the soda.
Candy cannons only work in soda if they are facing up and shooting things upward. All other candy cannons will stop working.
Remember to Empty the Candy Cannons
If you have to get soda bottles from candy cannons, focus on clearing the area around the cannons. You are going to need to make matches under them to get the soda bottles to drop.
