What Is Kimmy’s Arcade?
Kimmy’s Arcade is a mini-game you can play. If it is available, you will see an icon in the top left corner of the screen. After playing the game once. you can play again if you spend gold bars.
The goal of the game is complete a mini jam level.
You will be given cards with combinations of special candies to use. The cards have coloring candy, color bombs and jelly fish special candies.
You select a card and watch what happens. You then either win the level or lose.
Every time you beat a level, you get a booster. You can beat up to ten levels and get ten extra boosters.
If you lose a level, you get nothing. You can stop and leave with boosters you have at any time if you have not picked a card.
My Kimmy’s Arcade Strategy
The strategy I use for this mini-game is based on the fact that if you lose, you get no rewards. I try to clear boards with the weakest cards I can use. Trying to figure this out is a guessing game. You want to try to save the rare cards for the more difficult rounds.
Think back to playing normal levels and what will happen if you use these special candy combinations. If you are unsure what will happen, then test them and observe!
Once I get to about round six, the levels start to become very hard. Winning or losing feels like a gamble at this point. So often, I will stop around here. Remember, if you lose, you don’t get any rewards. I rather level with whatever I have then get nothing.
Even if you can beat ten rounds, the rewards you get from those last rounds are not necessarily any better than the early rounds. So there is no reason to take the extra risk.
Is It Worth Spending Gold to Play More?
Maybe. If you wanted some boosters fast, playing Kimmy’s Arcade is a way to get some. But you mostly get level start boosters and rarely get hammers or free switch boosters. I think the level boosters are a lot nicer.
There is also the random nature of the game to consider. You don’t quite know what you are going to get. If you lose, you don’t get anything! I rather spend my gold on something else.
